Ive fought CRM Valstrax 17 times no red dragon drop and ahve broken every parts on the end of the hunt. So why no drops lameeeeee

I needed 47 almudron for its orb. Have fun.

I had to get two orbs, one for armor and the other for Valtrax's weapon and it was under 10 times to defeat it for me to get both.

Bring cat with the pilfer boomarang. Can work wonders.

I needed two Magnamalo orbs, for the gloves and the sharpness decoration. Got one each in two hunts. Got anjanath's orb for the belt on my second attempt as well. RNG is just annoying and really makes it feel unfair sometimes.

My advice is to pick a quest that has a chance to reward the orb as a completion reward. One example is Magnamalo's orb, which can be a reward from the quest "Master Utsushi's Challenge Part 3". These quests have multiple rewards at the end and each one has a chance to be an orb, so it's much higher than the 2-3% chance it implies

Use a weapon that you don't usually use. I once fought Rathian like 10 times for a plate. Swapped to Lance (I NEVER play this weapon) just because I knew the fight enough so I could practice Lance. Got 3 plates. Magik.

my luck with orbs is just silly, I got orb of origin on my first allmother kill, didnt know what it was used for and i still havent used it on anything yet. considered melding it, but i know itll be annoying to get again if i need it some day

The first time I fought him I got 5 from the first run, I sold like 3 of them because I thought I wouldn't need that many which was a mistake, but anyway it's like a 3 percent chance to drop/carve I think break head chest and tail are the ways to get it I'm pretty sure

It’s desire sensor . Present in every Mh games . The game detect what you want and not giving you that easily . Make you broke and Rage . Meanwhile ppl who don’t want this will get before they even know .

For example , me … I am GS user and I didn’t know Valtrax armor is meta . I was happy with my Anja mixed set and didn’t even plan to replace it . Then I pick up that Red Dragon Orb from White Shinies which is just 1% chance of happening in my very first Valtrax hunt . Then .. I craved a Red Drgon Orb again . Meanwhile When I craft a Kushala Bow for Ice Pierce build . Took me nearly 14 kills to got the gem .

The same with Rathalos Ruby too . I farmed this ruby for Fire Bow , cut tail , capture for like 20 times and no ruby . Then I found out that Rathalos bow is not even meta . So I stopped farming Rathalos and started making Rampage Fire Bow . Guess what ? After crafting that Rampage Fire Bow , I got Its Ruby in one kill without cutting tail . KILL NOT EVEN CAPTURE .

Desire Sensor is not a myth . This thing also tortured me in World with KT weapons .

So stop wanting it , just keep killing for fun and you will get it soon .

It's also the same with goss harag bile and i need 3 of it.
