You know you can set an automatic call-out when that happens, right?
Get mad at basic game functions more.
congratulation modders you just made this game even more toxic.
Like i get it, useless info that absolutely changes nothing at all, but I don't feel like one should always announce it
but seriously try to knock it off its toxic xd
I like this mod for three very important reasons:
1) My friend is obnoxious about his perceived damage dealt. This lets me know, yeah I am dealing more damage (even though I already knew that lol), and I get to tell him to shutup with screenshot evidence lol.
2) I can compare my damage to other players to see if I am actually contributing/see if my new build is as effective as it seemed in the concepting phase
3) If a player is doing lots more damage than the others, I can check out their build and make one like it for myself.
The data Capcom gives you to check your build viability is not good enough. End of story. Maybe not a straight-up player damage scoreboard, that'd be gross, but some more meta data would be nice.
But yeah I wouldn't do a HP callout that's just cringe lol.
But all I'm saying is, there are still people out there who would rather to play the game completely vanilla, and people with modded games should understand and respect that, just like how they're free to mod their games however they want.
Although, since I play LBG, I have found myself using more damage-oriented builds than the support gunning I was doing beforehand. So, you know, I ain't totally free of the kind of subconscious toxicity of the kind of players who use damage trackers lol.
My mindset is this: If somebody isn't contributing big deeps but is running support and preventing carts, they're being plenty helpful. What's worse? The hunt taking an extra couple minutes or several people carting in a row and failing the quest?
