I think they're ores that appear uncommonly in all High Rank maps when you mine from the ore nodes that are known to hold common ores, as mentioned by the map. I think. Along with stuff like Carbalite Ore and such.

Although I dunno, maybe Machalite and Light Crystals are the Low Rank versions of Carbalite and Nova Crystals.

You should be able to find them in High Rank though, just grab Geologist 1 and set your map to only display the ore nodes and just explore. I think they're pretty much universal, only certain ores like Firecell Stones I think are restricted to a specific map I.E Lava Caverns, although don't quote me on that lol.

Chill out man. They don't have a specific map, they're just generic ores you get from mining certain ore nodes in High Rank. There's no "name" to give.

They should be glad no one just told them to go for Basarios, which is also a valid answer for at least one of the ores in question.

Machalite Ore can be found in the Sandy Plains, Flooded Forest, and Lava Caverns in Low Rank, and the Flooded Forest, the Frost Islands, the Sandy Plains, and the Lava Caverns in High Rank.

Lightcrystal can be found int he Flooded Forest in Low or High Rank.
