Yu Gi Oh Crossover event

Would be awesome. You run across Kuriboh, starts a questline that ends up with you hunting down 3 Blue-Eyes white dragons, culminating in a final fight with Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Where you farm to get the Kaibaman armor, Palico armor that turns it into a Kuriboh, and doggo armor that looks like Blue Eyes
Then from Konami's end, they could release 5 Promo cards available only to those who submit a code (that you acquire AFTER beating Blue Eyes Ultimate) - Rathalos, Magnamalo, Nergigante, Wyvern Ride spell card, and Tranq Bomb trap card.
Fighting Blue Eyes Ultimate in a MH setting would be cool AF!

But few know who that is. Blue Eyes is literally the flagship monster of the franchise. Been relevant in the game since the very first set came out

Wouldnt be the first time. Theres Dark Magician Palico/Felyne Comrade armor in other games. MH crosses over with a lot of stuff but most "Crossover Monsters" are in the now defunct Monster Hunter Frontier series barring Behemoth and Leshen in World.

It's a nice thought. If it were a high quality event it would be just one monster to hunt, just blue eyes, no ultimate dragon. With some armour/outfits that might suit the game, like Kaiba's blue eyes armour might look okay. Maybe dark magician armour or dark magician girl armour.


That said can't see it happening. Devs are probably busy as heck with the dlc, and can't see them focusing on crossover events after that comes out for some time, unless it were small ones that just gave outfits.

Isn't Yu Gi Oh a dead franchise though? A collab would make zero sense.

It's still pretty alive, anime is still airing for it. Just getting it's 20th anniversary for the first booster pack released in march where a bunch of cards/boosters are gonna get a re-release. And getting a new f2p game called Master Duels or whatever this winter season.
