Report a translation problem
Should this thread then not be better placed in the subsection of the forums where you report problems?
The more people report a problem the more likely it gets the developers' attention.
Aside of that I have very good experiences with open microphones. You just need to adjust it properly before using it, naturally. Also a proper headset can help. The ones I am used to often offer mechanic solutions or built in solutions with their apps.
So you need to speak clearly and properly before the microphone transfers your voice. And a single hand move can mute it.
Your assuming that people spend the money on a minimum viable microphone or have built in software. There is no software adjustment in built in to the game. There is no prompt telling people that they are openly using their mic.
Also, back seat moderation aside, I'll copy this thread over to "report a problem". I highly doudt they will look into it because it's been out for this long.
Well, Capcom did intervene with the save game issue at launch. And improved graphics setups to address issues. It is just that you would need enough feedback to get their attention.
Otherwise what do you intend to achieve with your thread if you assume nothing will happen anyroads if no one reads nor cares your feedback?
The only solution to this is to go to public Discord servers and try your luck there.
I used to play with voice chat on,came to regret it so quickly:
I've heard:
Middle-aged person abusing his little brother/child
Some Tri veteran complaining about every single thing in Rise while sounding like he had a heroin withdrawal
A guy that tried to gather plants and ore while being on that Magnamalo demo quest with time limit meanwhile explaining what MH is to someone else(Absolutely ignoring everyone else)
Same good old BS of keyboard/mouse clicking
I don't know why you would torture yourself, having voice chat turned on with randos, but you do you
Putting aside the fact that the thread of yours turned into a reflection that the majority here seems not to want use ingame voice chat to begin with, what do you think do you need the voice chat for with random parties which is not covered by stickers and chat?
Disabling chat exists, but this is just work around.
Want to get into the topic of "just works" well multiplayer "just works" assuming that means joining into lobbies more then half finished and all your do as the late joiner is capture the monster. Your glowing example of a feature that is half baked.
Learned my lesson of what? That i just leave my voice chat on and only mute certain people abusing it; if it wasn't obivous that I do this already aside from the fact that i didn't mention it? Or have you never played a multiplayer teamplay game that requires full comms? MH doesn't really need it, and I would agree with you on that because there's sufficient text commands, but the argument isn't about this. It's about a half baked implementation of a feature that's been here since the start of online gaming.
BUT BUT BUT HOW DARE YOU EVEN SAY TO USE THE CHAT IN RISE DONT YA KNOW IT FORM THE DEVIL SPAWN THE SWTIcH !?!?!? GOD HOW DARE YOU SIN ON MY PC FOURMS AMORNAHELAHJWXSDASD
why do these console-devs release their trash on pc ?
