Tilt your sticks and see if the sticks re-center properly when you release. If the sticks lean a little bit then you've found your culprit and need to increase the deadzone on your sticks.
This is, of course, assuming you don't have wacky software installed like rewasd, flydigi, etc., that let you bind gyro to output to the right stick or something, but I think if you had such a thing you would've mentioned it.
