camera drift?

when I move my character forward the camera drifts to the side like crazy, and I dont even touch the left stick.
I had this same problem in iceborn but here its much worse.

Yeah I did. It works fine on Yakuza 0

Some games have built in deadzone, but MHW and MHR are not games with it built in. I have Yakuza 0, but I can't test whether it does or does not, right now.

Tilt your sticks and see if the sticks re-center properly when you release. If the sticks lean a little bit then you've found your culprit and need to increase the deadzone on your sticks.

This is, of course, assuming you don't have wacky software installed like rewasd, flydigi, etc., that let you bind gyro to output to the right stick or something, but I think if you had such a thing you would've mentioned it.
