MONSTER HUNTER RISE
Is this game "souls-like" in its difficulty?
I am an older person and not so good at games having difficult action combat. Is this game like that? I do alright in Enshrouded and The Witcher 3 (except that darned vampire at the end of the DLC).

Not at all... World and Rise are easy compared to old MH games. Remember one thing... you can fail a hunt if you die 3 times and "lives" are connected between hunters. Some monsters can kill you in 1 or 2 hits and you need to learn some patterns but nothing impossible.
No, not really. Compared to a soulslike or other MH games, Rise is pretty easy and welcoming to new players.
The similarities are in the combat, it's a question of timing in dodging and attacking, and a couple of hits from some powerful enemies could be fatal but overall no... we are not at the same difficulty levels as souls-like games.

Welcoming, sure. but its still not an easy game.

Also, its worth noting pretty much every monster hunter starts out relatively easy. But they all end up harder then the souls games.

@OP: The games start out relatively forgiving, but towards the end, are generally going to be harder then souls likes by a significant margin. Bosses tend to 3 or 4 shot you with GOOD armor, and have MUCH more health then souls bosses.
