Can't Set Decorations at All. Glitch or What?

I'm HR6. I just beat the enraged Mizutsune in the Shrine Ruins, and the option to slot decorations into my gear has not appeared. At all. The "Set Decorations" option that should show among the Manage Equipment section simply isn't there, neither at the item box or the smithy.

Is it a glitch or what? Am I the only one who's got it?

have you done village quests not the hunter lobby quest

is this you're first monster hunter
or do you have gear that has slots and have the decos for the slots?

or this You will unlock the ability to craft Decorations in Monster Hunter Rise once you reach High Rank, which begins in 4-Star Hub Quests. You can unlock High Rank by completing Gathering Hub Key Quests or doing special quests in the village, called Special License Tests.

To get option to set decoration you actually need to have a decoration.
Craft one.

I've done all the village quests, I think. There are no urgent ones anyway. Like I said, I'm Hunter Rank 6, so I did all the necessary Village and Hub quests to get to this point. The Craft Decorations option was given to me hours ago in my playthrough.

No, I've played World and Iceborne before.

I do believe I've crafted a few, though it could be possible I only thought about doing it but didn't yet. I'll check.

There was a glitch recently discovered in Iceborne where the 'Manage Decoration' option will not appear. The glitch is caused by player speedrunning the game pass a point where the NPC who supposed to unlock the 'Manage Decoration' functionality during a dialogue has migrated to a different base, and making the dialogue trigger inaccessible. The only solution was to start a new save.

Hope this isn't what happened to you.
