How can I find small monsters in the map?

Say I want to find some Rhenoplos. Do I need to memorize their spot or can I find them through the map screen?

I think you can filter for small monsters but they generally show up in groups the same locations so it’s easier to memorize

I tried to find the filter, but no luck. Maybe I'm missing something. Yeah, I noticed they show up in groups, but the map is too big, with floors and all. So starting to find where they are is a chore sometimes. Thing is if I need the materials next week, I'll have to memorize...

think I misremembered then, but small monsters are def highlighted on the map if they’re the quest target, so keep an eye out for a relevant one

Ah, yeah, if it's a quest, then it's totally fine. Actually, that's the best method to farm their materials. Thing is that when I'm doing my chilling expeditions and I decide to give them a striking hello. I miss that feature, but oh well. Thanks!

Just take the quest with the specific monster that you want to kill. They mark their location on minimap for you if you take the quest.
Rhenoplos definitely has their kill quest from hr hub.
