about Charge blade AED

sorry for dumb question but may i ask is there no other way to aim aed like saed ? because whatever i use aed it only it one direction like forward it can't aim left or right like saed

hold left or right before you start swinging, as soon as you input the attack (or cancelling SAED into AED)
are you on keyboard or controller? it works fine on controller for me but I've not played with keyboard

i play with controller i try to hold right or left but it seem to go left and left only but only with aed not saed it like it only go in one direction unlike saed does

i think i mean the cancel aed version right before you into the saed that one is so hard to aim left or right the normal you can aim left or right just like saed

CB doesn't have the same freedom of movement like in World so it's harder to aim AED.

oh it no wonder i was seem to miss aed all the time whatever i try to attack the monster ngl i felt like the target camera system is the only thing that help me aim both aed and saed in rise

What makes you say that? it has almost the exact same moveset and degrees of turning, plus we've got Slide Morph and mega-buffed Evade Extender to play around with too?

try fooling around with it in the training area, hold all the way left or right as soon as you input AED or cancel into it. If you seriously can't change your angle, something's wrong and the game's not reading your inputs correctly - I can get like 30 degree turns when I do my AEDs

Don't button smash, there's an input queue. Just press enough buttons to execute the AED during the charged up animation(electricity appears on axe and there's more than one way to execute it) and aim... Might also depends on your controller, whether it's a knockoff or legit or if it's using xinput or dinput.

Pull your left analog down or to the opposite direction of your character while mashing triangle + circle >> and press anywhere you want to aim. I've no problem doing this on a Logitech F310

oh see that you can't aim aed on the right or left only aim aed right in the front of you it made me wonder if this move can aim based on position instead of aiming left or right based on your analog stick to go left or right for saed

yeah, you’re pretty committed to it wherever you’re facing, but you can still adjust quite a bit

i see well i guess i have no choice but to position myself in the right angle to hit monsters i kind wish they can give you something like by pull down left analog stick will make your aed go right and down right to made it go right that would make it easier to aim aed

If you use Slide Morph, you actually can - there is a huge degree of freedom in where you aim your attacks after you perform it.
The switch skill Axe Hopper also gives you 360 degree aiming while you’re in the air.

oh really because i barely try slide morph maybe i should use it sometime though and about axe hopper wirebug yeah i know it can made your turn any direction that you want the onyl bad thing here is your sacrifice the counter wirebug one which is like the best move for charge blade
