Denuvo sucks, but it is just anti-piracy software. I would rather not have it, and it is pretty anti-paying-consumer, but I can tolerate it.

While Enigma is just a straight up Russian malware, offered at a time when Russia is under heavy sanctions. Capcom is just being cheap. Rather than just removing Denuvo when it becomes too expensive for them, they put this crap in instead.

Not really, in fact my previous review was negative exactly due to poor performance, where I said Denuvo was a factor. You can see Ubisoft's response regarding this.
Yet, after a while the performance was fixed and was no longer damaging the game, so I finally played it and gave it a decent review.
I wouldn't mind DRM as long as they don't ♥♥♥♥ up our experience, I pay for my games and I want them the best they can be.
Also, Enigma is literally blocking paying customers out of their purchased games...

Who knows how many mods you installed before breaking the client or who knows your PC specs. But I think it's easy to blame a DRM and dont worry you are not solo in this weird war. Please unistall Steam and sell your PC because it's the next move for a DRM hater. :D
