Has this been fixed on Steam deck yet?

I was thinking about picking this up but the recent reviews are horrible. Apparently Capcom added some drm. Has it been removed or changed? How does this run on Steam deck right now?

Steam Deck was fixed the day the problem arose, the negative reviews are just review bombs overreacting to the DRM update. Also the DRM wasn't added, it was changed. The original DRM license expired, they updated with a cheaper DRM with basic features.

If anyone tells you don't get the game, don't listen~ The game is still great and it runs just fine.

It's officially fixed, but I've seen both people saying that it works and that it does not. No way of knowing until you try it yourself. You can always refund if it doesn't.

I want to add some mods.. will they work?
I have over 400 hours of MHW using mods..
IDK after DRM update I afraid to use mods.. might corrupt my save file or something..

According to a lot of players mods do still work, but as with all games not designed with modding in mind, mod at your own risk. Modding always poses a risk to break a game with games that don't develop around a modding community.

all mods are working right now so you are safe. Remember to do a backup your savegame just to be sure. If you need help to install them feel free to ask.
