Can t start MH after 23-JAN 2024

I can t start the game on steam after 23-JAN. I click "play game" but nothing happen
l have re-downloaded the game & steam , but still not solve.
So who can tell me what problem is that and what should i do

Exact same issue, I have tried everything.

- Added to exceptions for my antivirus
- Updated everything
- Verified Integrity of game files
- Uninstalled and re-downloaded
- Ran as admin

NOTHING IS WORKING! so Frustrating

Clear the Steam cache, move the game from HDD to SSD, perform a clean boot.

UPDATE! I figured it out. I use bitdefender as an antivirus. They have a feature called "Advanced Threat Protection"

I turned that off and the game launched. Then I added it to the exceptions list

Windows Defender is enough if you don't download shady stuff, then again, nothing will save you from that regardless.

I have the same problem. I added exclusions to windows defender but the same problem persists. I do not know if i have any other anti virus software that could be blocking the game tho. I havent installed anything new since I last played..

FIX go into local files and delete the dinput8.dll launch the game and it should load up :D

MHR folder. Dinput8.dll it's REFRAMEWORK

It's the Reframework mod. That guy is a dumbass and doesn't understand what updating mods mean.

So if you haven't modded your game, it won't be there.

oops, deleted my comment because I assumed they said this was about modded MHR. Buuut, I cant see where I'm supposed to see that its modded... how am I a dumbass? xD when the game dont opeen and you look for solution, all it says is to delete Dinput8.dll.

You knoow people like to not play modded games right?
