Capcom removed Denuvo and secretly added two new DRMs: Enigma and Obsidian. Those require root access and are only there to stop you from using mods and cheats. Of course, it doesn't work, as they were already bypassed, but they still prevent Steam deck users from playing Rise and some people reporting performance loss even worse, than they had with Denuvo.

they just patched the game and break the compatibility with Linux/Steam deck. REFRAMEWORK needs to be update if you are using mods and people now thinking there is a russian spy in their PC because they just read a post on Twitter.

Maje shere your not on steamdeck because yea that's broken & make shere if you do have REFRAMEWORK update it to the newest version.

I dont have a steamdeck im on pc
I dont have any mods installed on this pc rn
game just wont launch at all

updating reframework and game actually launches now

I didnt even buy mhr and wasnt going to a friend gifted it for me

I love monster hunter but im not a huge fan I only played world and rise

I have never paid for a $60 game on full release in my life and never will.

I know won't I'm currently playing like over 15+ games & two of them are MHGU & MH Frontier I've got plenty of game's on my back catalog to ignore more than just a couple of years of game launches.

Well, if they stop using the Enigma DRM garbage, there will be no reason not to buy Wilds.
But right now, that's not the case.

Exactly. Dumb take to ignore the backlash this is generating, I'll enjoy MHGU too again, on a new character and if I really want to play Wilds I'll either play at a buddies house, or just fiddly-dee some way to get it fiddly-free.
