Calm down, mods are not kill, just use the most recent version found on the nightly release page of the github: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases

The most recent update was just bug fixes.

Edit: Turns out they actually did add the Enigma DRM, but didn't say they did upfront. RIP Steamdeck bros.

I downloaded the zip for MHR from the link and unpacked the dinput8.dll to the MHR folder in Steam Deck desktop mode. Game still does not start. Also tried with the launch option provided on the git. Nothing..
Anything else I need to do? Anything I am missing?

For anyone having trouble: 1 download MHRISE.zip from github, extract the dinput8.dll and replace the old one. 2 open fluffy mod manager and uninstall all mods, then click re-read game archives, next simply reinstall your mods in fluffy

I don't know about you, but latest REFramework nightly just doesn't even work. I even made sure by testing with ONLY REFramework. This update is just broken.

EDIT: I had to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ remove Steam's game overlay DLL before launching the game. It's the only way that REFramework can even work. Disabling the overlay is not enough.

EDIT 2: Incompatibility with Special K vs REFramework. Specifically, and only when using the SKIF %COMMAND% launch command. It has nothing to do with the overlay.

Don't mind it. It's a bug unrelated to REFramework.

unfortunately it didn't work for me, even disabled dinput8.dll and re-installed the game, stuck on the loading screen, disabled mods too

Yeah, its just I'd rather wait until the REFramework updates accordingly and keep the game offline for a few days (I had set the game to not autoupdate, so jokes on Capcom)
