Layered Armor

I read that there is only a specific and limited number to do transfigurations, is that true or can I Transfigure any armor set?

I don't know where you saw that, but that's fake and was never a thing. You can use layered armor as much as you want once you unlock it.

You can transmog any and all armor you've unlocked, you can only transmog weapons if you get Sunbreak (unless you buy a layered dlc).

ok, to try to understand, layered are the tansmog, so in rise you tell me that I can use any armor set for transmog? I don't need just a few specific ones? And if so, at what level or when do I unlock this? And in sunbreak, do you tell me that I have to buy a DLC? Please clarify me thank you!

Yes any armor can be used as layerd/transmog.

Also for high rank you armors you unlock it at about HR6, and in MR you unlock it after beating the game iirc.

You say that when I unlock the 6-star missions I can unlock the transmogs? Sorry but I'm trying to understand many things because I'm new, what I had read from forums from 3 years ago was that you could only transmog certain types of armor that they sold through microtransactions, but you tell me that I can use any cosmetic set armor ? even if it is level under that armor?

you can layer any armor you have unlocked

you unlock HR layer armor crafting after defeating base rise final boss, MR layer armor crafting unlock when you defeat sunbreak final boss

you get DLC layer armor immediately if you have purchased them, no unlock condition

You unlock all High Rank armor to craft as layered at the end of High Rank (iirc after you defeat Narwa), and then you need to grind 7* or higher quests to get Outfit Vouchers to actually craft them. And then you unlock Master Rank armor for layering at the end of Master Rank and you get Outfit Voucher+ from Anomaly Quests.

There are additionally some extra layered armor that you can unlock from event quests, usually event quest descriptions will tell you if they give you layered armor

only in base Rise you could only transmog rampage weapons (unless you use the DLC). Sunbreak's is apart of the end game loop

what means iirc? I have just unlock the anomaly quest and still have no mr layered armors

Did you actually DO the anomaly quest? Because you get the tickets that are a material for them from completing them
