REFramework Direct2D

Hi all,

anyone got REFramework Direct 2D installed on Steamdeck? I installed it but won't work?

It's generally considered an out of date, buggy, and performance degrading mod (especially on Steam Deck). I would not use use it unless absolutely needed. Many mods that list it as a requirement will still work without it, just with a few caveats. For example the village reminders mod still works, you just can't configure all of it's options if D2D isn't installed.

Anyway, stay away from that mod if possible. Either use the workarounds for mods that still work without it (as in the example above), or find an alternative mod that doesn't require D2D.
