Windows (non-Deck) potential not-launching solution (w/ Comodo Firewall)

Credit to tx2orna01 for saying something that put me on to the search term change which then put me on a solution.

Comodo Firewall-specific, though maybe other antivirus/firewalls have this setting. Note that DISABLING COMODO did NOT have this same effect; tx2orna01 completely uninstalled Comodo and that fixed his, but mine resolved with this solution from Valorant:

Short version:
Comodo Firewall > Settings > Advanced Protection > Miscellaneous > Don't detect shellcode injections in these applications > I added both the whole Rise folder as well as MonsterHunterRise.exe

Resolved mine, might not resolve everyone else's, but it's somethin'. Maybe only need to add the .exe rather than whole directory.

thanks, this worked for me. disabling comodo did nothing, so this was a weird solution.

I do not have comodo on my PC. Is this really the true fix because I can't launch game...

Confirmed solution for Comodo users. Just added the MonsterHunterRise Folder to the exception as per OP suggestion. Works a treat. OP is a legend. Have my points.
