Why does everyone hate gaismagorm?

Man I just finished the game and the final boss fight is so cool and badass, the design is terrifying as it should be, but what’s with the hate? the game sucks for you or

Atrocious hitboxes which is of course a given for a large superboss in a MonHun game but some of them in particular are really bad with Gaisma

My friend thinks the ballista sections ruin pacing but honestly I never really care for pacing issues unless they're so bad that even I can notice how awful the pacing is

Grinding superbosses just typically sucks, they're cool for 1 or 2 times but any more gets tedious

yeah true, just fighting it 1 time is enough but I like fighting xeno jiiva more than once because of the gameplay and the map is much bigger

As far as I'm aware, no one hated giasmagorm, or at least, enough to where they have to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about it. I liked the fight, but grinding wasnt fun.

Wait people hate gaismagorm? I loved him lol would drag my friend to fight him randomly for no reason sometimes, he is cool and fun

His sliding attack is awesome lol, I think he also shares some attacks with Frontier monsters

I don't recall him being hated he's just not awe inspiring

Better final boss than the reskinned nergigante and the reskinned valstrax.

He's fine. I discovered that you can phase skip by dealing enough damage quickly enough (hooray Bow + 3 thunder HBGs lol) which make grinding him out for Dereliction armor a breeze

I imagine it's only gotten easier with the more powerful stuff available at Sunbreak endgame
