The only people I can imagine saying that are the ones who play nothing but the latest call of duty and need all their games to have this generic, "photorealistic" graphical style that is used in every single modern AAA slop game, else they think it looks like crap.
Here's a hot take for you: Rise is visually a more beautiful game. MHW, despite having high fidelity visuals, looks plain and drab in comparison to how visually stylized and colorful Rise is. I imagine if you downloaded ENB for MH Rise and tweaked the contrast and saturation down a bit to make the game's colours a bit more washed out, it would look more similar to MHW and you might enjoy it more?
But also, there's nothing wrong with Rise graphics, it's just in a different style but it's still decently pretty, and the detail, ambiance and level design are pretty good too. If World is all you experience so far it might take some time getting used to the change but i'm sure you could still enjoy it. (And you get a drifting doggo in Rise)
