Hey Capcom! Your sale sucks.
The sale on the main game is great. The sale on the DLC is absolutely ridiculous. Nevermind the fact that it's absurd that you're trying to charge $40 base for it (which even Nintendo isn't greedy enough to do and they're the undisputed leader in overpriced DLC) but a 25% sale to make it $30 doesn't entice anyone to buy it any more. Everyone who wanted it enough to pay $30+ for it already has it. It's an insult that you guys think that you can try to charge the high-end price-point for expansions/DLC AS A SALE.

Get back to me when the department that makes your imbecilic pricing decisions gets their heads out of their asses and we can discuss potential sales.

I bought the base game and DLC bundle for $50. Can't complain.

I already said that the sale on the base game is great. It's the sale on the DLC that's an insult.

Seems like you missed a few, also the game is still being updated while base rise is finished, and considering the difference in content - asking price is a steal.

No, $30-$40 for a DLC/Expansion is absolutely not "a steal." $30 is the high-end asking price for DLC, so it's not really on sale, it's just not the unacceptable $40 normal bloated asking price.

You wants to own the game so bad you asking for a bigger discount, just wait for the summer sale hopefully the discount is bigger.

Sunbreak is more content than base Rise, I don't see why the pricing is so bad except if you aren't from the first world and have to deal with the stupid regional pricing. Also, funny you say that it doesn't entice sales when neither Iceborne nor Sunbreak have had any problems selling, I don't think you understand pricing as much as you think you do.

I don't think YOU understand pricing. Marketing statistics for basically every game/DLC ever show that most sales are full-price on or shortly after release, where they drop off drastically. Small sales create small bumps, but nothing significant. 50%+ sales are the ones that create spikes in sales, with higher levels driving more sales. Again, anyone who wanted it a moderate amount or more already owns it. These tiny baby garbage sales aren't doing anything for them. If they want more sales, they have to do better.

Sunbreak already is selling like hotcakes lol, people are buying the game despite the tiny baby garbage sales, so why would they do deeper sales when the consumer base is showing they're willing to keep paying this price.

I'm gonna need to see some numbers to back up that claim. The DLC is almost a year old, it's definitely not "selling like hotcakes" at this point.

It's pretty much a separate game altogether - even though it's labeled "DLC" or "Expansion". You could easily repackage it as a stand-a-lone title and no-one would bat an eye.

Sunbreak has more content than base Rise. And they're STILL updating it periodically, so that "expansion" is still technically getting larger.
Granted, it is still a lot more money than they used to charge for the full "Ultimate" version games back before World / Iceborne.... but they actually have the option to split it up now, and I'm kinda surprised they're not charging for every single update... y'know... like a lot of game companies do.

This. Sunbreak is more like a Rise 2 than a dlc tbh...

Little does OP realize that Mon Hun expansions aren't todays standard dlc. Its a full on expansion. Roughly doubles the content of the game. Doubling content for 30-40 dollars IS actually pretty good.

Oh yeah It's way more than double, on base rise on switch I got 300 hours (everything done) - when I came over to PC - I steamrolled through base and just focused on SB, sitting over 600 hours now and I think I got about 3-400 more to go(or more).

All the upgrades for every weapon, hundreds of builds, talisman farming is better. I could go on - and it's still not done.

Still have to do those rampages on PC.... I dread the day.
