Sunbreak already is selling like hotcakes lol, people are buying the game despite the tiny baby garbage sales, so why would they do deeper sales when the consumer base is showing they're willing to keep paying this price.
It's pretty much a separate game altogether - even though it's labeled "DLC" or "Expansion". You could easily repackage it as a stand-a-lone title and no-one would bat an eye.
Granted, it is still a lot more money than they used to charge for the full "Ultimate" version games back before World / Iceborne.... but they actually have the option to split it up now, and I'm kinda surprised they're not charging for every single update... y'know... like a lot of game companies do.
Oh yeah It's way more than double, on base rise on switch I got 300 hours (everything done) - when I came over to PC - I steamrolled through base and just focused on SB, sitting over 600 hours now and I think I got about 3-400 more to go(or more).
All the upgrades for every weapon, hundreds of builds, talisman farming is better. I could go on - and it's still not done.
Still have to do those rampages on PC.... I dread the day.
Rise is like the demo for Sunbreak
