Gunlance is probably still better off with Chaotic GL because it gets so much affinity and has similar raw to Amatsu's GL, and Bullet Barrage spam is a meme playstyle anyway, but for that Amatsu GL might be better.
The Silkbind Boost only affects attacks that consume wirebugs.
useful for people who love to spam gunlance bullet barrage, since affinity doesnt matter for shelling
I play IG most of the time and Amatsu weapons sharpnes is too low for my comfy builds, and i play multiplayer mostly so i need a longer sustainability. No slots (except rampage) is also a big downside
and dual blades maybe the drill spin attack i guess.
guess im sticking with my velkhanna HBG which has all the types of ammos i love
I tried Amatsu IG with Master`s Touch and Razor Sharp 3 and all monsters you need to fight at Anomaly lvl 241+ in order to get Thickblood, is Risen Valstrax and Magala which has armour on most of their body so you dont get yellow dmg numbers much and your sharpnes depletes too fast in multiplayer so its not comfy
The only real problem I have with it is no regular deco slot. Armor sets now are pretty generous but it's nice to have that little extra bit. I'm also not sure if it pairs well with Strongarm Stance but I imagine any attack that gives the blue aura around the damage numbers will benefit from the weapon's unique skill.
