TU5 can't find Amatsu.

After updating the game, I am unable to unlock Amatsu. Is there is something I need to do beforehand? (My MR is 112.)

You only need MR 10 for Amatsu .

For me , the urgent quest prompted when I killed a Velkhana after the update.

Should be able to speak to Fugen and get the Urgent Quest

Killed Velkhana, yet there is no option to talk fugen about Amatsu.

i hope you haven't any mods in usage which is troublemaker nr1 when comes to stuff like this

the urgent quest is also located in the old rise village, so you can miss it if you only look in the new area but you mentioned already fugen, maybe you also need some anomaly level for progress

it is probably low lvl to join hunts, while you need something high to host
i have found one number talking about mr180 for risen shagaru magala, so i would not wonder if amatsu is in the same range.

wasn't it same for other monsters like scorned etc which was locked behind mr100 but you could already join with mr10, when your friend wanted to do the fight.

Which is pretty vague.
you also had to fight all the other dlc monster before you were allowed to hunt the latest release, in the past

the dataminer probably need some time to figure out what is really needed for the fight.
i can't really help while i already was anomaly lvl 220 and far beyond any rank, so the urgent quest instant pop up for me and shagura was just in the quest list

i got one a9 valstrax so far which was in the stupid arena which makes leveling these a9 extra hard if they are all in these arenas, it was 207 anomaly level and required lvl 201 to join

I started to play late beacouse needed new windows, and i could play all DLCs monsters at once when i hit 10MR. You need only kill previous from the same TU. For example i could fight Velkhana but for Lucent Nargacuga i needed first to kill silver and gold, and before them Seething Bazelgeuse. So they give you all starter monster from each TU at MR 10
