no controller vibration?

after 100 hours playing on pc i tried the switch version and realised it has rumble. is there a way to enable this for my xbox 1 controller on pc? i have it on in the settings but it does not work for some reason.

Does this make it vibrate?

haptics probably arent compatible with something as old as an xbox 1 controller

Are you using a wired or wireless controller?
Wireless controllers sometimes don't vibrate.

wired, ive used this controller for many other games with rumble like Death Stranding (which worked perfectly)

Sorry, I honestly can't help you.
It's a mystery why this game doesn't work with a wired controller when it works with all the other games.

tried using ps4 controller with bluetooth and it worked but there was input lag. plugged xbone controller back in and now the problem is fixed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
