So does Rise not cloud save like Worlds?

Was hoping to have my save still there when i reinstalled and i had to create a new one. Did they not include cloud saving with Rise or something?

What do you mean? They are pretty similar.

Unless you turned it off, it DOES have Cloud saves by default.

yea i know i never turned it off and i guess it never cloud saved to begin with. Really upsetting but i guess 55 hours isn't too bad to make up. Just hate going through MH tutorials and what not because they're so time consuming so the idea of starting over bums me out.

How rare and ironic. Normally it is the other way around, with people turning off their cloud saves because of fear losing their save games.

yea i never expected this to happen since i played Worlds just fine with it's cloud saves. It's whatever though, i still enjoy playing and i'll more than likely just look up way to cheese through stuff to get back where i was.

no i never accessed the cloud or anything. This was a reinstall after some time of not playing it, not a reinstall for an error reason.

Unless you purged your Steam folder, worst case would be the local files were still there, despite you have not used Steam Cloud service, and you just happened to run into the type III save game access error.

If your old PC didn't explode and you didn't delete all your Steam stuff or something like that, your files should still be on your PC.

o you have a local save? upload it to valve its fine.
boots game. no save. wanna make one? ok. no save.
these devs are so damn incompetent.... im hardlocked. goodjob.
and i cant refund my damn game.

Whenever you do anything to your saves in any game, always have a back up. It's obviously not gonna help this case anymore, but at least you now know for future.
