If it's from moral concerns, denuvo was removed from World after its content drip had finished, and it's safe to assume the same will happen with this game in a year or two.
Basically, companies buy a license to own the software (Denuvo) that they then use to integrate into the game to make it so people can't crack their game's files and immediately make torrents of it to spread across the vast internet sea.
Problem is, Denuvo has had a long history of causing problems with stability of the game it's 'protecting' and it almost always results in worse performance. Sometimes that loss of performance is so minimal that it isn't noticeable in the slightest and other times it's an absolute hellscape of problems.
There's a significant number of cases where pirating a game meant that you would have considerably better performance than someone who actually paid for the game.
I'm convinced the only reason why the software keeps being used is because the old bastards at the top don't know what they're actually signing for.
Funny thing is: Denuvo rarely does ♥♥♥♥ all for actually protecting games from being pirated.
Most games are getting a torrent between day of release and a week after.
Denuvo is just so impractically ♥♥♥♥.
For better or for worse, your words couldn't be truer. Piracy on PC is gonna be dead PRETTY soon (at least with AAA games)
Have you and other people who complains about that actually sent an email with your complaints towards feedback@capcom.com ?
Venting is fine, but if you actually want to change something, best to address it correctly.
Distributors, developers: Stop bothering your own players. You aren't stopping Piracy, the game is already pirated. I don't want to play it even pirated for free, because have may others good game WITHOUT DRM which deserves the most important I have: My time, then, my money (which is also time, but you understand).
Even it's discounted I feel waste of money, Everything is inferior to MHW, I feel the lazyness of the development team. Unfortunately I can't get a refund.
You can pass this game. just wait to play New Monster Hunter made for new console is better and hope Crapcom not forced stupid DRM again.
