I like the vibrancy and mechanics of rise more than I did Worldbourne. However the climbing we have in rise would have been so much nicer in worlds verticality.

Give me the next MH mainline with World's map design, Rise's vibrancy, Slinger without claw, and switch skills. Palamutes can stay too. Sadly, I don't think this will be a thing as the MH team is starting to feel like Game Freak in the sense that they make a mechanic and ditch it in the next game.

Please no, MHR VFX look terrible and textures are just bland. Rajang puking yellow goo just isn't appealing to me. World looks a lot better and I hope that they make MH6 open world and remove the three monster cap.

Open world doesn't make games good. Frequently it actually makes them worse. Don't do that to monster hunter.

Rise VFX can trigger heavy headaches. Never had it happen in world. So world instantly wins. I would pay good money for a mod that deletes some of them. Violet Mizus hit sparks.. red sparks from anomaly monsters.

it's one of the reasons why I dont play this game as much than world.

No, it doesn't. Stupid outpost mechanics and the likes make those games bad. Those games have garbage and extremely repetitive gameplay. MH doesn't have that problem since it already has great and to a certain degree very varied gameplay.

MH has been on it's way to OW for quite some time now. It's essentially just taking the very poorly executed Grinding Lands, actually using all the biomes properly, including the "town" into them and increasing the monster cap to like 15+.

I kinda agree. I do like Rises style that looks to be more anime inspired but the hitsparks need to be WAY better managed. Fights in this game look like fireworks and can end up looking like an absolute mess. I've mentioned this before but I would like to see them take a cell shaded look to the game the same way the Naruto Ninjastorm games and Guilty Gear Xrd games do. If the concept art for the armor is anything to go by, I think it could look really good.

MH: Stories style was close but the proportions weren't realistic like in the concept art and it didn't have that clean crisp outline like the Xrd or Ninjastorm games did.

The other half of me really loves the detail that went into World that balanced between realistic and fantasy. The armor looked great and the weapons felt like they had proper weight (but I know that's more an animation and sound issue). I hope they do consider a fully cell shaded style in the future. Maybe not on a mainline game but on one similar to Rise.

It does(do note I said frequently, not always). Open world =/= good game. Open world, more often then not, is an empty wasteland. We don't need that.
