Pyre Rkna Kadaki is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane ... i'm at the 2nd failed attempt at clearing this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest.. i failed the 1st time so i join a group, we kill Teostra and this thing just carts us all one by one

what stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monster design, gimmicky as all hell, impossible to read what he's about to do and when he wants to do it

this thing doesn't even feel like you're fighting a monster it's more like you're fighting a gimmicky robot who's just able to do a bunch of crap that makes no sense

Impossible to read?
no not in the slightest, as soon you are behind her and she stretches her head toward you, she trys to run backwards to you.
In the case of the trys to attack you with her abdomen, she trys to do this 2 times in a row
If she calls her spiderlings, you can be sure, they try to blastblight you or if they are connected to pyre, she let them explode.
If you are in front of her, she trys to flamethrower you with her head up to 2 times or trys to get closer with her scissor like attack with her claws.
as soon she screams in those growling sounds, you should watch out for her explosion and iframe/parry it or go away from her.


She is way more enjoyable then her normal counterpart in my eyes

TBH, rakna kadai for a DB user is actuallly easy as hell with demon flight ^

Most of her attacks fails if you are under her. But I still find that fight to be horsesh*t, she moves away from you way too much, and the hitzones are terrible, making her HP more than it actually is.

Her head which is her highest hzv is only accessible during her flame thrower and silk weaving. Learn when these happened and your are free to do big peeps peeps.

Or ask a LBG veteran to carry you and be done, dont touch it again to save your nerve cell.

maybe cause i play monhun since 2004 and as soon i have seen the monsters movepool, i learn them fast and do them constantly, tbh i can understand why she is frustrating you, but if you let your anger consume you, you only start to play worse, just relax a bit and start fighting cancer with cancer, you can do it.

i have seen monster with even worse movesets or questionable hitboxes in frontier or plesioth in second gen with his hipcheck that hits you trough time and space (ok thats a bit over dramatic but kinda true)

As a SnS, I learned to stay at its front most of the time. When I do this, the plesioth AI choose water jet moveset most of the time instead of hipcheck, which is very favorable situation for hunter.

Whenever plesioth did water jet, its head is lowered and I can hit it with SnS. Not to mention plesioth head is a big arse hzv of free damage estate.

Or just use pierce LBG, this fight become a joke. Also the monster that forced me into learning old school LBG.

indeed, that was by far the fastest way to deal with this troll, thunder pierce bow or thunder lbg , that thing didnt even know what hit him

i also gave only a example what hitboxes / attacks were infamous like the hipcheck

Oh, advice when it does its ultimate either on ground or on the ceiling:
Stay away from the body flame, then go in, as going away from her is actually a trap.
