Price increase after current sale ends
Capcom recently changed the price of all of their titles in some of South American regions and Kazakhstan and turkey so it is very possible that they do the same with monster hunter series but they cant do it right now since they are currently on sale and according to steam rules they cant change the price until 40 days after current sale ends. So if you live in these regions, this is probably your last chance to buy the games at a reasonable price before they increase it by 500%

500% seems a little extreme, even if we consider the absolutely ridiculous Inflation of some countries

You MIGHT want to alter the title to be more informative than dramatic.

yeah it is way too ridiculous but it is true. Right now resident evil 1 for example got exactly a 500% price boost and that game came out when? 10 years ago?
And all Capcom titles seem to got a price increase of 200% minimum. Except the ones that are already on sale which wont get that price change until after this sale ends.

This post aged like fine wine. I was right and now the price for all monster hunter games have been increased. Although this sudden price change upsets me but i hope atleast 1 person trusted me on this before and got their copy of the game.

I dont know why you even bothered necroing this post if price was unchanged for you. But anyway the price change only happended in countries with weaker and unstable economies like south America countries and turkey and the whole point of this post was to help people from these countries to get the game on sale before they jack up the price but instead we have first worlders commening " its still the same for me" like dude read what i said first :steamfacepalm:

Necroing :benny: bruh the last post was under 2 weeks ago....
Anyway why the click bait title then? You should have stipulated in the title that it was only certain locations.
And I did read what you said but even so it's not really Capcoms fault, it's a steam thing. Steam released new pricing guidelines and policies and they recommend that everyone increases their game price in those regions, it may be automatic as well but I am unsure as of yet.

Well my original post was from 2 months ago before the monster hunter series price change and the one i posted 2 weeks ago was to tell people they actually did it. And yes my title could have been a bit better to be less misleading but i explained it afterwards that is just certain regions that are getting affected by this.
and for the price changes that have been happening lately to a lot of games in these regions has nothing to do with steam. Its just region hoppers from first world countries that switch regions to get games cheaper, and because of that number of units sold goes way higher than expected from that region which forces publishers to increase price to make up for that loss but actual people who live there get super screwed over this.

So apparently valve actually was involved in the price changes and i just found out about it right now. Such a sad time to be alive 😢
