Gaismagorm Abyssal dragonsphire drop rate is too low
I've killed this monster more than ten times and i did not drop a single abyssal dragonsphire.
Is there a part to break to raise the chances? did you drop any??
I did not surrender because at least the battle is fun...

3% chance on head break, 1% from body carves, 3% from tail carves, 1% chance from shiny drops, 2% chance to show up in the top line of the rewards box.

Typical drop chances for that item type.

Craft Narwa HBG and farm him in 5 minutes, the only way to beat RNG is to ramp up the amount of rolls you get.

Capcom should have been kind and have a rarely spawning Felicrow at the start of the ques- well actually wait a minute, that'd just cause people to abandon repeatedly until they got a Felicrow I guess.

I miss Lucky Vouchers. Even though they probably didn't do much, they made me feel like they did, and I want Capcom to care enough about me to make me feel like I feel like I'm getting bonus rewards! Or something like that.

Why doesn't Capcom care about me, man? :winter2019sadbulb:

you usually get 1% chance for part breaks on top of the usual 5ish % when carving for monster-specific gems.
check you hunter notes in the info menu and welcome to monster hunter

Thx to all. I'm not new to MH but i've never had so much trouble get some pieces...
It's just luck. I had bad luck with my first 10 Gaismagorm kills too. It actually has better chances for the rare item than usual because it has more body carves and 2 tail carves.

The odds aren't unusual, you're just getting unlucky. Happened to me too, I didn't get one until my 16th kill.

go feed an owl at the top of base and eat dango food that increase more rewards. and equip good luck skill.

I should probably add that you should break head once too. So basically cut the tail and break head once for the best chances for the rare item.

I envy you. I had so much bad luck in every Monster Hunter I've played. I had to fight 50 Brachidios in 3U for a single gem, or the time I had to fight Xenojiva about 15 times to get a gem, meanwhile my friend got one run where every single crave was a gem.

Good Luck Lv3
Carving Master

Break the head, cut the tail, grab the shiny, bring Gathering Palico (these guy had gotten me plenty) also eat for Fortune Caller Lv4 whenever it show up

Honestly, I don't have much trouble getting mantle in SUNBREAK, devs definitely makes it easier to farm in never generation MH when your hunter have tons of skills

Oh just what we don't need. Another "Pet the pig for better drop luck!" rumor that's utterly false.

10 times? thats it? You know nothing of true pain.... ~25 hunts for a magmadron mantle...

Tail carves has 2 chances to give one, and breaking head also gives a chance as well, besides carving body and quest rewards.

10 isn't bad at all, but that is still the Desire sensor in effect. Decide for certain that you no longer need it and you will get it the next time you fight it.
