And tbh, id rather buy a pc release of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite title. That title brought to me so many memories.
Best we got is emulating it to get that fancy 60fps opposed to the underpowered switch.
Prowlers are already the weakest class in GU by far (as in the only way they can actually compete with proper hunters is by cheesing certain fights like Ahtal Ka with ranged attacks, and even then they can just barely reach clear times on par with the blademaster weapons that can't cheese those fights), so that scout type would suck ass unless they rebalanced the cats (like they should. They are fun to play as, even if they are suitable only for handicapping yourself). Luckily on PC you can just mod most games (including both MH titles on Steam) if you dislike the default balance (though as that is still cheating please stay away from public games if you do tweak your games)
Note that the balloon is not always there, and is a single use one. But yeah, it's not hard to learn a monster's spawn location and its movement patterns. I can still remember most of them by heart despite not having played the game in a while.
A regular cheapo SATA III SSD supports 6GB/s read speeds, so it's a pretty major upgrade compared to the Switch's internal eMMC storage's 400MB/s read speed. So I assume you'd be correct. Theoretically a 4 second loading screen (area transfers in GU on Switch load slightly faster than that) should last for only around 0.27s on an SSD.
As for hub HP scaling being fixed for 4 players in titles prior to World, it's not much of an issue. Well, the really hard quests can take over 30 minutes to solo, but normal quests are still doable in 10-15 minutes even if you aren't a god.
I would buy GenU again on PC though
No, because I already bought Generations Ultimate on Switch.
