Would you buy a PC release of generations ultimate?
Like if it was 30$ and came out after the final content update for Sun-break as a in between game while we wait for the next game.

Yes. More people need a taste of the end of Old World as well as Prowler mode being a fun gimmick.

of course

I would buy only if they do remaster, not just mere port.

Yes, but not for 30 EUD. 20 EUD would be the maximum I am willing for a port.

With how much GU has in terms of stuff to do, monsters and fights, I'd say it'd be quite worth 30.

Maybe. But I have bought it already not that long ago for the Nintendo Switch at full price. And unlike with MHR I do not expect much enhancements for the PC version. If it comes with meaningful enhancements, I gladly consider getting it for 30 EUD.

I would not like a remaster because the feel they would make the models look like our current modern models. GU was very distinct in its style. If they could improve upon that aspect instead of simply making them look like an inferior World/Rise I think it'd be better in the long run.

Nope, because it is impossible to me to go back to the legacy design after World and Rise.

Now, if the mechanics and maps were modernized....

Prowler mode was fun, I'd probably pick a copy up on sale for the novelty of playing that mode with friends. I find I much prefer the reduced grind and the quality of life improvements of Rise/Sunbreak.

at this point no. if it did happen I would wait until it majorly went on sale and had a bunch of mods to fix some of the more annoying aspects of the game or at least a weapons/prowler rebalance. otherwise I will just play my switch version.

Prowlers have a unique aspect of never needing to paintball because they always know where the monster is. An easy fix would be to have a "Scout" type Palico. It'll be weaker than the other ones, but it has the aspect of always knowing where the monster is so it'll be on your map.
I don't exactly mind the loading zones because it's actually a benefit in the older games. Sometimes you need a safe way to heal or sharpen so you can just go to a different zone and do it. Yeah sometimes it's annoying when the monster smacks you into a loading zone, but with friends that's more funny than annoying.

Absolutely it was a blast

Yeah that would be cool. HBG was so fun to abuse in that game lol.

Knowing where the monster is only really matters the first time you play a map.
After that it becomes a useless skill.
They always spawn in the same place and you can usually wawe at the ballon in the sky to instantly find the monster.
Or just use that one potion that also just shows the monsters location.

would love a port, for the crying on steam alone.
gu was a nice finale for the old style
