It is one of the strongest shields you can have. Rightly timed it can be an alternative for your party to synchronised dodge roll.
Only thing I'd say is from experience, be mindful of how you use it in Multiplayer, because you can get people carted who might not expect it, you can cause someone to get hit multiple times when they're expecting a knockback.
The best uses for multiplayer of this song is against things like roars, tremors, wind pressure.
bad side - you still get all damage from "reflected" attack so need to know what to do. and this make it very bad for multiplayer, cose your party member cannot predict when you perfom it and still use own methods to avoid knockbacks(and most time even cannot see if you use it - notice is small buff icon that apear for fraction of second is not simple) losing benefits from it and even assume attack dont hit cose no knockback getting himselfs in dunger.
but for single player it very strong when you use it right
