Care to explain a bit more on that part ?
This is not a indirect port, and capcom classifies it as mainline, and therefore is considered MH6 because its the sixth main installment. All other games made by b team (Generations, Portables, Freedom), and to an extend the ultimates(Gs) are indirect ports of theyr predecessors with added content.
A main title is a completely new game, and isnt using older games for an indirect port.
MH7(6th generation) is in the works but people should really not mix generation by mainline numbering.
Also, Doesnt matter if the IP is run by two teams.
Allowing these followers to call for post game quest and being able to customize their gear would be fun .
Really hope title next update expand these follower quests .
Rise Sunbreak is part of the 5th generation and is considered to be "MH5 2" of "MH5.5". MH6 is in the work and Capcom themselves call it MH6 for now (until the real name is revealed). That's how it officially works. The number 6 is not meant to say "the 6th game". It's meant to specify the generation. Team B will after that release the second game of the 6th gen, and it will be MH6 2 or MH6.5 until the real name is relevealed.
MHW is MH5
MHR is MH5 Portable
Cause it isnt an indirect port of a main installment....
But what do I know, right?....
