Are you using Switch Skill Swap?
Are you Swap Switching? Are you Switch Switching? Are you Swap Slapping?

Some of the weapons seem like they invite this more than others, so just curious who and what weapons are embracing the new mechanic. I'm using it a lot on Great Sword.

No, mostly since still early game and they don't really give enough incentive to do it yet.

Absolutely!

It ramped up my Lance gameplay so much - I still have a hard time to believe its Lance!

Did Lance really get that much of an overhaul?

I play Hunting Horn and haven't really used it yet

As Sword and board, I switch stances all the time depending on what I am fighting.

I am still at the beginning of MR, but for me it certainly does!

Switching between Spiral Thrust and Anchor Rage immensly increased my damage output. Insta-Block became ridiculous strong in comparison to before. And with Evade Extender (I think) the mobility increased tons and tons with the Swap Evade - it is just incredible!
Last but not least, I think they decreased the costs of Twin Vine which makes it easier than ever to be mobile on the battlefield. Even when playing multiplayer when the monster does not focus on you.

Lance felt never better than now.
It is like the commercial feeling "I cannot believe its not butter!"

Why would i? i can only use one skill at the time and never had a reason to swap.

I have everything i need in one scroll. (dmg, counter, mobility)

Hammer btw

Gunlance - not really so far. With normal shelling, I haven't found a time where it would benefit me a bunch to switch to a different loadout.

Yeah, being able to swap from gap closer to big parry is a big deal. Not to mention existing skills got improved a lot too. Insta-block is actually good now and anchor rage got reworked so it doesn't punish you for being tanky anymore and the buff lasts longer than single poke now too.

Haven't even tried other new skills yet but it's already been so much nicer to play.

I've done the entire story and some endgame content now with CB and never used it, since besides Axe Hopper there's no switch skill I want to use. My loadout has been Air Dash, Charged Sword, Firing Pin, Axe Hopper ever since I unlocked the new siklbind attacks.
But the game really wants you to use it, seeing how there's unique skills that interact with the scrolls and swapping, or just nullify damage if you swap as an attack hits you.

On Switch Axe, I personally am not using it, because with the right skills, you dont need the Reload. However, if Redirection does become a very strong choice, I might start using it then.

The only difference in my IG scrolls is Recall Kinsect -> Diving Wyvern
Feels like IG got the short end of the stick again

My Bow scrolls only difference is Dodgebolt to normal dodge. I love the new melee stab though
