Is there any reason to get Sunbreak if i'll be in base Rise for a while still?
I'm gonna farm most of the weapons in the base game before finishing it and moving on to the expansion.

No, not really. Your best bet would be to take it slow and buy Sunbreak on a possible discount with some of the title updates already there. Zero reason to rush into buying the expansion.

Nope, not at all. Either way you'll be able to play multiplayer as you'll technically have the content 'downloaded', which is by design. Sunbreak is useless to you until you hit HR7 in the base game anyway, outside of the layered armor. After you beat the story's main antagonist you'll then have access to the expansion content.

Since it looks like you don't even get access to Switch Skill Swap mechanic until you actually unlock MR, then there is no good reason at all to get it yet.

You're safe to play the base game, then decide if you want to spend more money and get more content.

Nope. Shouldn't take you more than a few days to chew through the base content though. No sense in grinding anything until master rank.

I don't like rushing MH games, i don't move to the next monster until i've farmed all or most of the weapons of that monster.
Even if i reach MR i'll still need to kill Low Rank and High Rank monsters to make their weapons from the start

Yes. You only need to beat 7-star Hub quest, Serpent Goddess of Thunder which can be done in a single day. All of the quality of life improvements in the DLC will help you speed up the farming process immensely (e.g. make one master rank weapon/armor set and plow through all the quests you want to farm).

If you want to fast track:

Special License Test 1 - Complete three 4-star Village Quests - Promotion to Hunter Rank 2 and access to 2-star Hub Quests

Special License Test 2 - Complete three 5-star Village Quests - Promotion to Hunter Rank 3 and access to 3-star Hub Quests

Special License Test 3 - Unlock 6-star Village Quests - Access to 4-star Hub Urgent Quest, “The Blue Apex”.

Doing this will fast track you to high rank and then from there you just need to do the necessary hub quests to unlock and beat Narwa. If you're an experienced hunter, you should be able to do this in one or two days. Less if you're an expert hunter.

In Rise you can craft weapons deeper in the tree without going one by one...but I get it. I used to take my time with Low Rank and High Rank but I find that I burn myself out by the time I hit G Rank/Master Rank. To each their own. As long as you're having fun.
