Had REFramework crash, deleted / reinstalled MHR, save profile lost
So had the REFramework crash going on. Deleted the MHR folder (just the game folder itself) and did an uninstall/reinstall.

After reinstall, Sunbreak finally started up fine- However, its no longer detecting my saved game.

In c: steam/userdata/(id), i still have my 1446780 folder with data inside it. To my knowledge this is MHRs saved profile information- But for some reason sunbreak isnt detecting it

Anyone have any ideas for what I can do to potentially restore my saved profile?

Have you enabled Steam Cloud save under Properties > General?

Its been disabled on my entire steam account- Not sure if thats something i did ages ago, or just this steam account is old enough that it predates it (have had steam since it basically launched).

I tried enabling it / rebooting the game- no luck.

I have my original 1446780 folder saved to the side, still has all the files in it.

I deleted the "current" 1446780 folder from my UserID folder, and restarted MHR. It of course again goes "oh, no saved data", and remakes a brand new 1446780 folder.

Ill take my old 1446780 back up folder, copy/paste the contents into the new folder MHRSB made-

And when I get into game, no saved data found.

Its like my original saves in my original 1446780 folder got corrupted or something somehow- which is frustrating. Feels like about 180-190~ hours wasted.

Not sure if this fixes your problem but go to your original 1446780 folder then only try copying "win64_save" folder in remote and place that inside newly created 1446780 folder.

Did this as well- no luck at all sadly

Same issue, it worked well before I reinstalling the game (except crashes from taking a misson after finishing one). And now my save files cannot be read.
Ever found a solution to this? just had this same issue when I tried to reinstall because the game kept crashing

all you gotta do to remove mods is delete the reframework folder and the dinput8.dll. saves are local i think so if you dont have cloud then i dont know if theres anyway to get your save back

Sadly no. Seems like my saves were corrupted somehow, and never found a way to fix it. Just wound up biting the bullet and starting over from 0
