DLSS = No more fluffy fur.
DLSS changes the way fur looks, like when you turn off TAA. It's not soft or fluffy looking anymore.

Wasn't that how DLSS work, raise fps by sacrifice some graphic, resolution, etc.

Im not in game but it might be under anti aliasing

Edit. also if your GPU does not support DLSS, it probably wont show up?

It's under display options for me, just below display frequency.

it also worsens shadows, resutling them to be lesser diffuse.

the dlss implantation in this game is ... kinda bad, atleast in 1080p and 1440p resolution

Yup, just don't use DLSS, no reason to.

Honestly there's no need for DLSS in Rise... So kinda pointless to even bother using also TAA is broken still on PC and the only thing that works is the shell fur shader.

I don't use DLSS in any games, never find it to be useful instead of hurting my eyes.

well, TAA/FXAA look terrible. I use DLSS on quality settings for better AA. Maybe I should try using nvidia control panel AA settings instead, any tips?

Be fair here... Only FXAA is working so still gonna get shader shimmering even with resolution scale at 150%. Also not sure if control panel AA would work with Rise.

Yeah, you're right I already have the render res at 150%. I was just curious.

If you care about the fur shader, using any anti-aliasing that doesn't have TAA in it will get rid of most fur from objects.

Unfortunate but I'm still happy to trade the fur shading for a highly stable image with no aliasing I reckon.
