[SOLVED] READ FOR FIX !!! - No sound, and crash report instantly upon loading

Kill / end either/all nahimicsvc43.exe nahimicsvc32.exe nahimicsvc64.exe processes in task manager.
These are i think realtek/asus audio software/drivers? and they are apparently conflicting with the new game update!!!!

anyone else?

No sound, and theres always a crash report tool being loaded as soon as the games up.
EVen fresh installed as well.

I do not have mods installed, stop commenting as if thats a fix, its not. READ !

checked to see if its a corrupt save?.. deleted all the saves and booted up fresh, still instant crash (can still play if i leave the crash window open, but no sound)

So its not an issue with my game files at all.
My guess is its an issue i with an audio or graphics driver if its craping the the split second your load up the game?

I FIXED IT, i ran through the DxDiag.txt file in the crash reports and the far down under the diagnostics section it mentioned nahimicsvc43.exe i looked for that in services.msc and turned the service off

You sir (or madam), are a saint. Stopping nahimicsvc43.exe fixed it for me too.

Go into the install folder and delete dinput8. uninstalling does not delete the file from your system. (source:currently in the middle of a reinstall when i found this thread. looked in the folder and its still there)

omg bro i love you. in my case i didnt have nahimicsvc43.exe mine was nahimicsvc32.exe or nahimicsvc64.exe.. i just killed them all!

Working fine here... 12700kf, rtx 3070 (latest gpu driver) and windows 11. bought it right now... on startup it compiled shaders and done.

Yeah looks like somebody made a mistake from the Jurassic Park games for having issues with nahimic. I still wonder what exactly they're doing to produce this error, one hell of a start for sunbreak release... Hope they release some major fixes soon
