Everything else can be played via hub
You might not have to do this at all if you start at the hub though.
edit-
actually we are not on high rank and he didnt have to do any village at all.
So as the poster above there might be a few side quests to unlock dango flavours but thats prob it.
A hunt for the player to learn how the game work.
Some village quest unlock a new Dango ingredients
There is also an exclusive reward when completed all village quest.
You can continue playing hub quest and check back at village quest later
I guarantee you that most of the village quest finish less than 5 min if you rush through it.
(I started playing village quest at around HR 30~40)
Also note that, if you care about the story of this game, consider play village quest first
before playing hub quest.
TL;DR - village quest gives an exclusive gear, new Dango and a story before hub quest.
However, there are a few unlocks from village quests that can make them worthwhile, as well having the first part of the story. (And village quests are arguably easier to grind up gear to take into the hub.)
You can definitely get geared up properly in hub. In fact, HR is hub only, so even if you started in Village you would have to move over to the hub anyway. HR is where you will get the real gear, but if you do find yourself struggling in LR hub it can be worthwhile to grind some solo village quests for easier gear.
Finishing ALL village quests (yes, ALL of them) unlocks the ability make the flame seal eyepatch both as armor and as layered. It bestows 4 points of critical eye.
Achievements of course
Wirebug guy has 2 great wirebug quests
5 kamura tickets from fugen for killing magnamalo he seems to give more later, got a single one after unlocking the 6 star urgent quest
what are they for? any of the weapon designs you unlock through villager quests and npc armors.
A Cahoot outfit
Dango fortune caller, sometimes increases rewards, can be upgraded by a hub quest to have a better effect, probably the only dango worth
doing village quests for, not sure if it actually pays off, couldn't tell to be honest. it's also one of the rotating dangos.
Dango fighter, reduces stamina depletion when evading, blocking or doing certain other actions, this can be good for dual blades but
I find it kinda meh
Dango moxie, prevents 1 faint, has a hub upgrade quest
this one seems good on paper, but in reality it's also meh
Dango dizzybloom, easier to stun monsters, probably good? I don't main stun weapons.
Dango Leg Day, decreases stamina depletion on wall run, do I need to say anything? lol
Slayer of malice room decoration from argosy
Doing every village quest and beating narwa in hub unlocks a quest to fight rajang, magnamalo, and bazelguese in the village 6 star
which rewards an achievement and flame seal (the eyepatch) and some titles
You unlock a decent sleep weapon for palamute and palico in the buddy plaza shrine
-Rampage tutorial quest literally the only reason to auto skip the entirety of village quests It is very painful for what you
could google in like a minute
This seems to be all,
only monsters missing from village quests is post launch monsters and
rakna-kadaki and the two main story elder dragons.
if you wanna breeze through village quests, do hub first, it will also offer a more challenging starting experience. if you do village first, it's not hard, it's designed to be easy anyways, having high rank armor just helps make it go really fast.
