the amount of monsters isnt really relevant in the end. the content behind them matters.
if you can craft everything from a monster after 2 hunts already and then have no good reason to go after it anymore then even 30 monsters wouldnt safe your game from running out of gas stupid quick.
ill wait a 1-2 days after launch to get actual details capcom is trying to hide this time tough. dont wanna get disappointed again like with base rise. which was ok but lacking compared to other titles in the series.
Thanks for sharing!

I believe the final boss pictures are still on Reddit? Not sure, didn't look at them.
Yeah, I always put spoiler warmings to avoid ruining someone's day by mistake. I have to say this community is often kinda bad at tagging spoilers.
which is why i said "its probaly already too late now" as once something like that gets to the public these copy right strikes are just dumb and pointless. they are always too late to stop it at that point.
there really arent much spoilers in it. most of the monsters already got shown now publically.
And the one at the end?
Right of Astalos is Seregios.
At the end is the final boss icon.

NO IDEA if this is legit or not, could be photoshoped. If it is then good work to whoever made it.
Honestly with how the base version was I kinda hope we go straight to his variant in a title update like Crimsom Glow Valstrax instead of getting this punching bag.
1) please spoiler his name.
2) AsteriskAmpersand just kinda deconfirmed it on his Twitter so no I guess?
Some will say quality is better than quantity. Yeah but you can have both, and personally, i loved every 27 additions of Iceborne. I mean, the 17 monsters of base Sunbreak are all pretty great too but, idk. Besides, can we really say they put quality before quantity ? Blood Orange Bishaten and Pyre Rakna-Kadaki are just explosives subspecies. It's the same kinda thing. It doesn't even change Rakna THAT much. And Aurora Somnocanth, that's pretty boring.
And after the latest annoucement (Gore, Espinas etc...) they said "stay tuned, we have more monsters to announce soon". What are they gonna announce ? Furious Rajang ? How is this going to hype anybody, that monster only skipped the 3rd gen since he's in the series and he was already a focus of a TU in Iceborne. Besides, it's just Rajang but more mad, nothing too crazy. Shagaru Magala ? If Gore is in the game, obviously Shagaru is too, nobody hesitated about that, when we saw Gore we knew Shagaru was there too. The Magnamalo Variant ? That's pretty cool. But that's just ONE thing. Once again they showed everything except the final boss before the release. And let's not forget Apex monsters are not even gonna be in Master rank so that's 6 monsters deleted and maybe it'll be the same with Narwa etc...
Oh, and also, there are traces of Seething Bazelgeuse in the demo dataminings if i am not mistaking, which means it's gonna be like Rise. They wanted to put more content in the base game, but either decided to cut it or didn't have time to do it right, and so they are gonna release it in TU. And if that is true, they that means TU won't be bonus updates like they were in World and Iceborne. They won't be bonus updates, they will be updates meant to finish the game. Things that were supposed to be in the base game at launch. I hate that way of making a game. I want the game to be full AT LAUNCH, and everything coming after should just be bonus, not something meant to actually finish the game.
Anyway. I'm still hyped for Sunbreak, just a little less. In the 17 additions we have some great ones, Gore, Espinas, Astalos etc... Also, we don't know anything about the endgame loop for now, and that might be gamechanger. A great endgame loop can turn the game into a masterpiece, even with a lower monsters count than the previous game (even though i guess Sunbreak will have more monsters than Iceborne after getting all the TU updates of 2022/2023, but i'm talking about the release of June).
EDIT: also, i know old G rank expansions like Freedom Unite etc... added less monsters than Iceborne, but we are not 10/15 years ago. Iceborne did set a new high bar, i was expecting we would be closer to 30 more monsters than 15.
Actually i wanted to write detailed about how wrong you are but actually im now just tired to correct Peoples bull*peeping* and just let you know that youre wrong, just to make your day bad cause it surely gonna annoy you to know someone isnt your opinion and doesnt bother to show where youre wrong with your wall of text.
Its your Opinion and thats ok, keep living with it.
