There is like no reason to cheat in a PvE game unless you want to spoil your own fun.
It seems to depend highly on your region and culture how many cheaters you encounter.
Considering what you can find on nexus mods and how easy it is to cheat: it is almost common to encounter cheaters in multiplayer for no understandable reasons.
Best you play normal, by making a fixed hunting party of people you play often with.
Cheaters like those are usually only appearing when they feel safe being anonymous with people they will never see again.
Still, you can turn it whatever way you want - aside from spoiling your own fun there is no understandable reason why anyone would cheat in this game.
theres no reason to meld talisman when sunbreak is out the current talisman became useless
A legit assumption that with the new addon there will be new - higher and stronger - tiers of existing equipment. Including talismans.
Unless I missed some mod that bypasses that system.
Yep. You missed it. It is literally served at the same plate like the mod to cheat talismans.
Meh. In that case.. .. Meh. Disappointing. Why even trying to fight it when they can just release some mod bypassing it -.-. Typical capcom move -.-.
That said. I never saw a one hit kill cheater in this game.. but I also dont get a lot of mp hunts. After 5 minutes waiting I give up.
I also never check peoples equipment. I did it in world a couple of times and it's just depressing.
Since current talismans only go up to Rarity 7, it's safe to assume that we'll most likely get rarity 8, 9 and 10 with Sunbreak. Capcom does goofy ♥♥♥♥ like going up to level 12 even. There's no real way of knowing how they'll approach Talismans, we might get a level 4 Decoration that you can only fit into the MR tier talismans too.
They won't become worthless right away of course, some of the talismans you have might still be viable even late into MR. That and they'll still be useful if you haven't even reached MR by the time Sunbreak rolls around. This is all speculation of course.
Why would Capcom make an anti-cheat to begin with when there is no reason to cheat.
The only thing I wish for, is that the cheaters keep it to themselves.
But obviously, if there is no reason to cheat in multiplayer, the only reason those players join multiplayer is to spoil your fun. So you actually deal with trolls, and not cheaters.
Thats the problem with all coop games that aren't server side. Thats why I laugh at capcoms attempts to fight it. I wish modders would finally stop creating such blatant troll stuff tho. Onehit kills or unreasonable equipment won't help anyone.
But that won't happen. There is always someone having fun in ruining other peoples fun.
I really love the game, it's fun, but RNG is a ♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes (hunted 50 Magnamalos - got like 4 orbs). I just use cheat engine to bump up the quantity of items sometimes.
Funny you think Capcom is making any attempt to fight it.
I do not even relate why there is an illegal charm check. You gain nothing but ruining your fun by cheating in a PvE game.
It is less a game issue but more a cultural/society one.
In Japan you cannot afford such behaviour as you would be put on a semi-public blacklist.
