Do buffs stack?

Yes, but demondrug and mega demondrug don't.

Armor/power charm/talon also stack.

If you have the resources to make a mega demondrug, just use those and stack it with the demon powder, might seed. Of course this means you will be going through your precious supply of might seed faster so do consider how much you're willing to waste on a single fight.

I'm sure you were going to beat that Great Wroggi anyway, don't add insult to injury to the poor thing.

There are quite a lot of buffs in this game: Consumables, Bag items, Hunting Helpers, Hunting Horn etc.
The best way to make complete sure if the buff stacks is verify it by checking your stats. I believe most Wiki are still missing these kind of niche information.

Keep in mind that only Demondrug and Armorskin lasts for whole hunts. The Seeds and Powders only last 3 minutes each. Though you can increase this by up to 50% longer if you have free slots in your build to slot Item Prolonger.

Additionally, the Seeds and Powders give +10 attack each, compared to Demon Drug only giving +5, and Mega Demondrug giving +7 (On that note, Mega Demondrug is only worth it on extra tough fights, since it's such a small increase compared to regular, and Pale Extract is a lot harder to obtain than just Might Seeds and Catalysts)

since when is it hard to get pale extract while you can nearly always buy 10 from the argosy

since when is it hard to get pale extract while you can nearly always buy 10 from the argosy

It's not hard to get, but if you're waiting for the argosy to randomly have it appear in the shop it might be a while before you can start to stock up on it. Other option is dealing with an obnoxious Karen of a monster who won't stop screaming about micro-aggression's every 30 seconds and stuns you in place so you can't escape its tirades.

Wyvern riding - golden wirebugs. You can make a build at farming him, even if you don't want to fight him check expeditions for him in one and get what you need also while doing that.

Sounds like a ton of work for a +2 attack boost (over a regular Demondrug) to use against a Tetranadon or Rathian

I have been always using Mega Demondrug / Mega Armorskin since you can get Pale Extract from Argosy. I never ever ran out of them, nor Kamura points to obtain them.

There is no need to make it sound hard to obtain for an upgrade item which lasts the whole hunt. Actually, the only upgrade item which makes me a little more micromanagement is Gourmet Fish, but that too is quickly managed considering how easy fishing is in this game and what else you can do to obtain Sushifish.

It is not just Argosy but also the Meowcenaries you can and should use to farm certain items.

For the Pale extract you can even farm low rank since it has one of the highest drop chances for it. Plus if its annoying take a comfort set with you with earplugs and you are good to go normally
