For those who are complaining about performance issues, here's why
Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak have Denuvo. Capcom already remove it from Monster Hunter Stories 2 which was released on PC last year. That means MH Rise will probably continue with it 'til next year.

The reason developers have been using this software to protect their game from piracy is to stop them from getting cracked and redistributed. The reason people dislike it is because the way it works, it can and does frequently affect game performance. And dedicated pirates will still eventually crack the game so it's not that effective anyway

Denuvo is a digital rights management (DRM) solution for game developers. They can license Denuvo and integrate it into their PC games. If they do, the Denuvo software provides anti-piracy protection. It’s designed to make it more difficult for people to “crack” games and distribute them for free. According to Denuvo, it “stops the reverse engineering and debugging” required to crack a game.

The problem is that DRM can provide us a "great performance" during our gameplay and that's why many of you are experiencing performance issues in the Flooded Forest, Jungle & Citadel maps.

After removing Denuvo from the game, the performance will increase absurdly. To make any kind of sense of it I should show you an example. Just take a look at this:

This is Resident Evil Village Vs Resident Evil Village Cracked:

The cracked version doesn't have stutterings and it runs better than the original version.

There's 1 dedicated cracker right now as all the other scene groups have been broken up, the list of uncracked games has been growing a lot faster than the list of recently cracked games for well over a year now

It is common knowledge that the problem with RE8 was Capcom DRM, not Denuvo

The normal version of re8 also had its issues fixed a long damn time ago.

Stop blaming denuvo for your computer sucking.

i don't have any stutters in MHR, except when playing multiplayer and a person connects.

also the culprit on those maps are faulty shadows (dynamic shadows) when turned off performance comes back.

Me neither, but I've been seeing some players having frame drops in some areas of these maps.

Wasn't Denuvo removed from World/Ib at the last update after Fatalis?
Anyways it didn't change anything, my World run the same. Never encountered any problems in Rise either.

And that's despite the fact that I used to run both on a potato-ish PC.

That video is over a year old and before the performance patches...
RE8 had two performance patches AFTER this video, one later in July and another in August

A video from the same source after the first performance patch saying the stutter is gone.

You're linking old videos to back your stance.

RE8 has gotten multiple patches since then.

Stop blaming drm for your computer being crap.

I did multiple playthroughs with no stutter both with and without ray tracing.

Yeah, the tiny update with no real patch notes after fatalis removed denuvo.

And, yeah. Nothing really changed except startup time.

It didn't fix everything.

Denuvo is still in RE8 to this day.

It will not be removed until some time after the dlc comes out next month.

You're wrong. Stop.

I am not blaming anything I am just explaining people one of the reasons of such thing. Shadow of Tomb Raider have increased its performance after removing Denuvo from it. One of the areas affected was Kuwaq Yaku which has been fixed after removing it from the game. I don't know why you fanatics fanboys are so pissed with my post.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider also got an update alongside that to fix other issues and update the DLSS implementation.

You're wrong.

Deal with it.

I played that game on launch day and made a benchmark after the update which removed Denuvo from it. I did it by my own. It was fixed.
