Stupid question: Does weapon size/length matter?
I was using layered Lost Code Hammer, its size is pretty small average compared to other hammers and i swear i feel like i've been missing the second hit of Brutal Big Bang when i shouldn't. Could be a placebo effect but then i also stumbled upon this video on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpmzvHf-sj4 for GL.

I've heard about weapons in MHW and MHR uses real hitbox that depends on their weapon model but I was never able to find evidence of this myself.
And it would also make the Akuma layered + SnS the worst combo possible.

No. It's how you use it.

I have no words for this.

I would be very curious if this is true, since my favorite Greatsword, the crab claw, is EXTREMELY long.

But knowing their tendency for non-matching giant square hitboxes for monsters, I doubt they'd uniquely hitbox every weapon like Fromsoft does.

Layered skins make no difference. When you use perfect invisible layered weapons or broken image, you can use them normally. Usually it happens when you use mods but failed to install it.

But your brain can think wrongly. That's the point.

Other weapons in same category are also same as layers. There is completely no differences between them because physical structure of all of them are same. Maybe contact points of target and details of situations like angles of motion and monsters can be different in that case.

I think it is more weird how people fall for stuff just because they see "hey, there is something on the internet about that topic". Imagine someone making a video saying something absurd like birds do not exist and those all you see are actually government drones and people start believing that. That would be ridiculous.

Additionally, Capcom loves details in MH but not in this title for them. AND that is very useless for their reputation.

Yeah then how about this.
I almost played 5k hours in World and Rise. There could be people played MH series more than me but I never heard of that kind of JOKE. It is very sensitive issue if it is real because it is "seriously" "directly" related to power value and balance of weapons. I think someone can suggest that because this game requires DETAILS. I think suggesting issues like that is not bad because those are outputs showing they studied their own weapons. Proof of love.

Some bug or intended 'gift' from Capcom could be given to us but it is not MH style. Looks like you played this series too short. or you like conspiracy plays?

If one would believe whatever some else said blindly then yeah, it is ridiculous, but I don't see the problem with discussing a suspicious issue as long as it doesn't derail into a conspiracy theory discussion.
Also bro, you believe the internet is real? It's actually a government construct, wake up bro.

Checked gunlance issue. It looks like some community in my country is also recognized it.

I told based on usual weapons and I think it's some kind of bug or one more stupid Capcom-ish disaster. You know. Rise has many interesting ideas but almost all of them including traditional systems all desperately broken or not polished enough. And I want to say this GL issue is not a common case as I said. Deserved to be stomped by players.

Sorry for that. My bad Eng skill ruined it.
For a justification, Our fuxxing education system completely didn't care about Eng writings for tens of years. really sorry, not a sarcasm. Because of that I repeatedly check my posts and edit them.

Not for Gunners. No idea for Bladeys. Would be ludicrously unbalanced if it were so.

That said, I found the integer that governs where my shots originate on the horizontal plane when I fire them, which is interesting. If I could find the vertical and depth integers too, I would effectively be able to choose where my shots come from. Then of course there are the angles...
