Did we get anymore information on that Bloody jewel
It says on the jewel itself that damage increase is based upon health recovered. So does that mean that If I'm running max recovery up I can do way more damage?

Seems like it increases raw by 15 on each hit for a maximum of 30, while increasing element by 10% each hit up to a maximum of 20% extra element.

And Recovery Up doesn't affect this buff in any shape or form from the looks of it, unless maybe the jewel has a mechanic where the increase to attack and element only takes place if a certain amount of HP is recovered from Bloodblight, like the video suspects, in which case Recovery Up might actually allow you to receive the buffs marginally faster, but would still not be worth slotting just for this purpose.

OHH I see now, so to really make this as effective you would need to run a skill that lowers your health, run full intrepid heart then for (IG anyways) be on your second aerial attack get hit a few secs before the final hit then wyvern dive onto the head.

Anti-species Rampage decos, if applicable, are still better.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking, I did test out my greed build, and they only damage increase I've noticed was counterstrike, and that lasted a lot longer then the bloody jewel if i even noticed it at all.

I guess it would be good, if you had permanent bloodblight with something like Arc set or dereliction, but currently (for IG users anyways) it's not worth it. It's good for big hitters I suppose(god I haven't even touched those weapons)

The buffs are strong and every weapon can use them effectively, all it takes is attacking during Bloodblight which is what you do on every weapon anyway.
It's just that the uptime is going to be so low, even lower on multi monster investigations, so even Elembane and Daora repeat offender are going to be better options due to the better uptime.
