And Recovery Up doesn't affect this buff in any shape or form from the looks of it, unless maybe the jewel has a mechanic where the increase to attack and element only takes place if a certain amount of HP is recovered from Bloodblight, like the video suspects, in which case Recovery Up might actually allow you to receive the buffs marginally faster, but would still not be worth slotting just for this purpose.

Yeah exactly what I was thinking, I did test out my greed build, and they only damage increase I've noticed was counterstrike, and that lasted a lot longer then the bloody jewel if i even noticed it at all.
I guess it would be good, if you had permanent bloodblight with something like Arc set or dereliction, but currently (for IG users anyways) it's not worth it. It's good for big hitters I suppose(god I haven't even touched those weapons)
It's just that the uptime is going to be so low, even lower on multi monster investigations, so even Elembane and Daora repeat offender are going to be better options due to the better uptime.
I forgot about daora's jewel.....
