Were you playing other games in between?
If that doesn't solve it, you can use the same method to disable the shader cache all together (I don't recommend leaving it disabled).
Disable the shader cahce via the nvidia control panel and restart your pc. Then delete the contents of the shader cache folder located at C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache. Re-enable shader cache and restart again. I think MHR stores it's own shader cache, either in the install folder or in a cache folder somewhere in steam, but I'm not 100% positive on that one. You will need to rebuild the cache on first launch of a game, but this might fix it.
Try these.

Mind the tip in the first guide and the note in the second guide about modded games.
