MHRise no Action Bar !?

I am playing Monster Hunter : Rise for 60 hours by now and I couldn't figure out, why I can't see my Action Bar or interact with it. I also can not interact with my control pad and that's weird. If I go to the HUD settings the Action Bar is turned on but the fact I can't interact with the Action Bar is just strange and annoying.

You might need to be more specific there. The action bar can be hidden, and it is unclear whether you mean you cannot use it at all, just in Village, or just in Quests.

Also it might be helpful you share details about e.g. your Action Bar settings, so people can analyse it/try to reproduce your issue.

To give you an example: I have it on my... uhm... DPAD? is it called like that? Others have it on L1(or was ir R1?)+Y/A. Those are entirely different settings to call upon the Action bar.

I just figured it out myself. In Controls my DPAD was set to the Item bar and no control options were set to the Action bar. So if no buttons were binded to the Action bar, it vanishes.
