Village quests necessary?
Hello guys, thinking about purchasing this game. Previously had only World/Iceborne expirience and because of that i have a question. Is village quests necessary to complete? Do it lock progress? Is rampage mode is a chore? Thanks in advance

No. Village is like a "lower than low rank", but it's not necessary. Progressing EITHER village OR hub will advance the story. (though the endgame quests are, of course, hub only)

If you've ever enjoyed any sort of tower defense, you'll like Rampage mode.

No, not necessary, but it might be best to do so as they're easier than the hub ones
No idea about the second one, what do you mean by this?
Rampage mode is better with people, if you know the mechanics, you'll do fine

I meant does it have like HR limit that needs to be removed only when you comlpete village quest line

Village doesn't lock your progress IIRC. I believe there are a couple of unlockables in the Village Quest line though. If you're in a rush, you can just progress through Village. They will give you one-time special license quests to skip ranks in Hub.

If Im reading this correctly, are you asking if they lock your HR until you finish the village? If so, no, not really.

Village quest is kind of a way to bypass the hub low ranks via the special licenses.
Hub quests are the hunter rank itself.

Otherwise, your showing HR won't change from 1 at all until you either do the hub quests or the special licenses.

Heads kind of foggy, so if it makes no sense, hopefully someone can explain it to you better
Village can be skipped, rampage is a chore.
