Low GPU utilization

Hi,

I got a 3080 ti and get 90 FPS on average because GPU usage is only at like 30%. Other people with similar Hardware get like 180 FPS on average. Every other game or benchmark works perfectly fine.

Anyone else have this kind of problem?

This game does not really push high end rigs at all. I mean maxed out at 1440p this game barely makes my GPU tick.

Yes, I am aware of that. But I still get kinda low fps. People with the same Hardware get double my framerate.

same , i have 1650 super others get 110 + fps i only get 60 at best

In some zones my 3080 is like under 50% usage at 1440p, and my fps is just chilling at 75? Like just take my frames. The Flooded forest drops my fps to high 60's. I have a 165hz monitor for a reason. No way is my Ryzen 5 2600 bottle necked this hard on Rise. Even in World it gave more frames.

im going between 120 and 144, which 144 is my monitor's cap. and 2080ti
have you tried switching some drivers, rolling back to old ones? im currently running 496.49,
couple of updates behind. updating to latest didnt give me benefit all times,contrary it gave me fps problems on some few games.

Set refresh rate to 144Hz in game options, FPS drops to 30-50 during adventure.
GPU is barely pushed, CPU is going mad.

Game is badly optimized.

What's your cpu? This is a very cpu heavy game, way more than justified, so your gpu won't get used much unless you're playing at a very high resolution.
I have an rtx 3080 and an r7 5800x, and I still get 100% gpu usage and ~45% all core cpu usage while playing at 3440x1440 and getting ~130-140 fps on average.

Same set up, weird. I don't have the full game, is the demo not at all indicative of performance?

Demo and release versions seem to perform the same to me

6800 XT. Game locks to 120 but I cap at 90 because(this is going to sound weird) 90fps looks smoother than 120 too me in every game(I have a VRR display. I dunno why it just does lol).

That said. Not surprised to see a 3000 series card have issues in any games. Check any triple A game Steam Forum. I said it before and I'll say it again: Something is not right with those 3000 series Cards.

You guys think it's optimization but it's not. Those Cards are off in some way.

Looks more like a cpu issue than anything, I'd expect to see both utilizations low if the gpu was having problems.
Question to anyone here having this issue, what OS are you on? Windows 10 or 11? Or even 7 if you're a masochist like some of the people on this forum lol

Who knows. Could be. All I'm saying is I very rarely see 6000(AMD) users having issues compared to 3000 series. From new World to GoTG to the Ascent. It's seem the same pattern repeats.

It's not a conspiracy to me and my Profile is open. Literally any Triple A game you can see that I own line's up with what I said. every new release has 3000 series owners suffering from issues that I do not suffer from. I am also not a AMD fanboy. the 6800 XT is my 1st AMD GPU ever. You might just be one of the luck ones.
